MeTime Waiver of Liability
& Photography Release
IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE SIGNING OR CONFIRMING
This is a legally binding agreement that affects your legal rights. By confirming this waiver, you agree to all terms on behalf of yourself and your child(ren).
1. Description of Services
I understand that I am enrolling my child(ren), ages 4–12, in the MeTime for Parents childcare service, which provides supervised evening care from 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM on Fridays or Saturdays. The service includes age-appropriate snacks/meal and entertainment activities.

2. Assumption of Risk & Acknowledgment of Inherent Risks
I acknowledge that participation in childcare involves inherent risks, including but not limited to slips, falls, minor injuries from play or activities, allergic reactions to snacks or environmental factors, exposure to common childhood illnesses, and other unforeseen accidents. I understand that while reasonable safety measures, supervision, and background-checked caregivers will be provided, no childcare environment is risk-free. I voluntarily assume all such risks on behalf of myself and my child(ren).
I acknowledge that participation in childcare involves inherent risks, including but not limited to slips, falls, minor injuries from play or activities, allergic reactions to snacks or environmental factors, exposure to common childhood illnesses, and other unforeseen accidents. I understand that while reasonable safety measures, supervision, and background-checked caregivers will be provided, no childcare environment is risk-free. 3. Release of Liability, Waiver, and Hold Harmless
In consideration for the services provided, I, on behalf of myself, my child(ren), and our heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue MeTime for Parents, its owners, operators, employees, caregivers, contractors, agents, and affiliates (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action whatsoever, including but not limited to claims for personal injury, death, property damage, or emotional distress, arising out of or related to my child(ren)’s participation in the childcare service. This release includes claims based on the Released Parties’ alleged or actual negligence, to the fullest extent permitted by law. I agree to indemnify and hold the Released Parties harmless from any loss, liability, damage, or expense (including reasonable attorney’s fees) that may arise from my child(ren)’s participation or any breach of this agreement.

4. Medical Authorization & Emergency Care
I certify that my child(ren) is in good health and has no medical conditions that would prevent safe participation. I authorize the Released Parties to seek emergency medical treatment for my child(ren) if needed and I agree to be fully responsible for any associated costs. I understand that the Released Parties are not medical professionals and will not provide medical advice or treatment beyond basic first aid.

5. Rules & Policies
I agree to abide by all rules, policies, and procedures of the service, including but not limited to drop-off/pick-up times, allergy disclosures, behavioral expectations, and cancellation policies. I understand that failure to follow these may result in denial of services without refund.

6. Photography & Media Release
I grant MeTime for Parents and its affiliates permission to take photographs, videos, or other recordings of my child(ren) during the childcare sessions. I authorize the use of these images (with or without my child(ren)’s name) for marketing, advertising, promotional materials, social media, website, newsletters, or other business purposes, in any medium now known or hereafter developed. I understand that no compensation will be provided for such use. I waive any right to inspect or approve the finished images or copy. If I do not wish to grant this permission, I must notify the provider in writing prior to the session and ensure my child(ren) is not photographed.

7. Severability & Governing Law
If any part of this agreement is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force. This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, and any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of that state.
