Date nights/ladies night 🌼 💖

Ladies Night Ideas

April in Charlotte is arguably the city's "golden hour." The cherry blossoms have done their thing, the pollen is (hopefully) settling, and the social calendar is absolutely packed. Whether you’re planning a romantic evening for two or a high-energy night out with the girls, here is how I would say how adults should make the most of the Queen City this month while the children are away.

Adults really have it hard when it comes to working so hard and taking care of their children at the same time. Sometimes it may look like they can't even have breaks to themselves. Some adults (referring to men and women) just want the peace of going on a date with each other just to get away from all the stress. While other adults (referring to ladies) just want to have the time to hang out with each other like old times. Like having a girls night to themselves, talk about drama, the latest gossip, anything that'll take the stress and all the pain away from their minds. To myself, I wonder, “hey Maya” when it comes to “Moms night out” How can moms be their separate selves in a world where they are the kids center of the universe.? And when it comes to “date nights” how can men and women take a break from work and enjoy the time they have together, without having to add on stress to their brains because they're worrying about their kids? Luckily, I have the answer just for that!!! And what better way for men and women to go on date nights and for the ladies to have a girls night in… THE MONTH OF APRIL!!! 🎉🌼💖❣️

Let's name some girls night activities!!!

🥂 Ladies Night Out: Fun & Festivities

1. Charlotte SHOUT! (April 3–19): This is the ultimate girls' night destination. Uptown transforms into an interactive art gallery. Head to First Ward Park or the WonderDome at the Wells Fargo Atrium for immersive sound experiences and light installations. I'm pretty sure a bunch of ladies who love art can check out what they appreciate or what type of art they like. Who knows, maybe they'll be inspired to make their own type of art and set it up for an art gallery for everybody to appreciate their work, and they can post that online to sell it and get tons of money. 💵💸🖌️🖼️

Extra tip: I would suggest that the ladies should start with cocktails at a rooftop bar like Merchant & Trade to see the art from above before walking the "Street SHOUT!" circuit.

2. The Concert Lineup: If your group loves a big arena vibe, April is huge. Cardi B is bringing the heat to the Spectrum Center on April 12. For a country-folk vibe, Zach Bryan plays Bank of America Stadium on April 18. Tuck Fest at the Whitewater Center (April 24–26): For the active friend group, Tuck Fest is a three-day celebration of the outdoor lifestyle. Even if you aren't competing in a trail race, the live music at River Jam and the craft beer selection make it a fantastic, laid-back hangout spot. I'm pretty sure all the ladies would love to wild out and go crazy when they hear Cardi B singing her songs, posting on Facebook, Instagram, and Tiktok about how much fun they're having. They'll even have bragging rights. 🤳🏿👩🏿🎤

3. A "Main Character" Dinner: Check out Spice Charlotte for an upscale, lively atmosphere. Their shareable small plates (like zesty shrimp tacos and artisan bruschetta) are designed for a group that likes to try a little of everything. A girls night can't get any better than trying very fine cuisine. That'd be the perfect place to gossip about how their life has been, what secrets they wanted to tell each other in private, while munching and enjoying the fine taste of seafood and other delicious treats that the night brings them.🍤🦞🌮

Phew!!! That was a lot about girls' nights. But I hope that helps some ladies think about where they want to go to party all night, reconnect with old friends, and take the stress off their minds. Speaking of reconnecting, let's look into what men and women can do for dates!!! 👩❤️💋👨👩❤️👨❤️
